What to pack when the phone is the camera

If the phone is the camera, the case needs a raised camera rim. Table drops are how lenses crack. A separate lens guard is a cheap second layer when the case rim is low.

A grip or a ring makes one handed shots steadier and gives you a stand for menus and tickets. Pick a grip that folds flat if the phone goes in a small pocket.

In the car, a mount belongs at eye level, not in your lap. Vent clips are fast. Dash pads are steadier on rough roads. A magnetic head only helps if the case can take a magnet.

Pack the cable you will actually use in the car. A coiled lead stays off the shifter. A two meter lead is too much for a cup holder and just right for a hotel.
