Glass, film, or nothing at all

Tempered glass is the default for a reason. It takes the scratch, and a good sheet still feels like the original glass. Privacy glass is worth it on trains and in open offices. Matte glass helps if you read outside.
Film is the pick when you want less thickness and you are gentle with the phone. It will not stop a point impact the way glass does. A three pack is useful because film is easier to replace than to repair.
Skip a guard only if you already accept a bare screen and you never set the phone face down. Most of the scuffs we see start that way, not from a dramatic drop.
Install on a clean table. Dust is the reason edges lift. Our install kits include a frame so the sheet lands once, not three times.
